I downloaded a game but I can't open it!

Most of the games on this site are zipped, meaning the files have been compressed into a smaller package. Right-click on the file you downloaded and click 'Extract All...'. Then simply open the newly created folder and run the game. If you need a file-unzipping utility, you should download the latest version of 7-Zip. Once you install 7-Zip, right click on the file and click 'Extract All'.

The game I downloaded won't run!

If you haven't unzipped the game yet, or don't know how to "unzip" a file, refer to the question above.

If you HAVE unzipped it and still can't get it to run, it's most likely because the game is too old for your computer. You could try DOSBox. Otherwise, try googling the game name plus the error message. Chances are someone has already dealt with this problem. You could also email me (check the about page) and I'll do my best to help.

My game is running waaay too fast!

You can download Mo' Slo from PC Gaming. It will slow down DOS games in 1% intervals.

Can I suggest a game?

Sure thing. Send some info and a URL where I can find the game. Do not send me files through email! I'll look at the game and most likely put it up. If the website does not include game information such as developer or year, then please include it in the email. My email address can be found on the about page.

What are the requirements for the games on PC Gaming?

7-Zip (Or any program to unzip .zip files)
Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000 recommended. Windows XP will run some older games. Windows Vista probably won't run many old games.
It really just depends on the game.
